Airfreight Services

When the Shipment Can’t Wait

Airfreight can protect a production deadline or restock window when transit time matters more than the lowest unit cost. We compare standard, express and charter options based on the route, cargo, deadline and carrier acceptance.

  • Consolidated and direct airline options
  • Airport-to-airport or coordinated door delivery
  • Priority services available on selected routes
  • Dangerous goods assessed against IATA DGR and carrier requirements

Express Airfreight

Priority and next-flight-out options may be available for urgent cargo. Timing depends on route, capacity, cutoff and carrier acceptance.

General Air Cargo

Consolidated or direct airline services for cargo that needs a shorter lead time than sea freight.

Charter & Project Cargo

Dedicated aircraft options for oversized, high-value or time-sensitive cargo, assessed for each route and shipment.

Dangerous Goods (DG) Air

Classification, documentation and carrier acceptance coordinated with qualified partners under IATA DGR requirements.

Air + Road Combinations

Airport collection and final-mile road delivery coordinated with the airfreight booking.

Air Customs Clearance

Clearance coordinated with licensed customs brokers, with shipment information gathered before arrival.

Seafreight Services

When Volume and Landed Cost Matter

Sea freight is usually the practical choice for larger, planned shipments. We compare FCL, LCL and project cargo options, then coordinate origin, sailing and delivery with the providers involved.

  • 20ft and 40ft FCL plus LCL consolidation options
  • Port-to-port or coordinated door delivery
  • Licensed customs broker and biosecurity coordination
  • Break bulk and project cargo assessed individually

Often Suited to Larger Volumes

Seafreight FCL

Dedicated 20ft or 40ft container options for larger consignments, subject to line, route and equipment availability.

Seafreight LCL

Shared container services for smaller consignments. We compare freight and local charges against the available FCL option.

Break Bulk & Project Cargo

Vessel and port-handling options for heavy, oversized or out-of-gauge cargo, assessed shipment by shipment.

Dangerous Goods (DG) Sea

Documentation, stowage requirements and carrier acceptance coordinated under the IMDG Code.

Port-to-Door Delivery

Wharf cartage, unpacking and final delivery coordinated through Australian service providers.

Sea Customs Clearance

Licensed customs brokerage and applicable BICON biosecurity requirements coordinated for the shipment.

Compare Freight Modes

Airfreight, FCL or LCL? Start With the Trade-Offs

The cheapest freight rate isn’t always the lowest landed cost. Cargo volume, inventory deadline, handling risk and destination charges can change the answer.

Consider Airfreight

Usually the fastest mode, with price driven by chargeable weight and route. It can suit urgent, high-value or lighter cargo.

  • Shorter transit times
  • Priced on actual or volumetric weight
  • Capacity and acceptance vary
  • Can protect stock availability

Consider FCL

Use one container for your shipment. FCL can be stronger at higher volumes and reduces consolidation handling, but local charges still apply.

  • 20ft and 40ft options
  • Less consolidation handling
  • Schedule and equipment dependent
  • Compare total landed cost

Consider LCL

Share container space for a smaller consignment. Consolidation time, handling and destination charges need to be included in the comparison.

  • Charges based on volume or weight
  • More handling than FCL
  • Longer lead times may apply
  • Local charges matter

Common Questions

Answered Plainly

What’s the difference between LCL and FCL sea freight?
LCL means your cargo shares a container and charges are based on its volume or weight. FCL gives your shipment use of the container. There is no universal crossover point because rates, local charges, cargo shape and route all matter. We compare the available totals for your shipment.
How long does sea freight take from China to Australia?
Timing depends on the origin and destination ports, shipping line, service, transshipment, schedule and current congestion. Your quote includes the current sailing estimate, and we also explain the origin handling, clearance and final-delivery time that sits outside the sailing schedule.
Do you handle customs clearance as well?
We coordinate clearance with a licensed customs broker. The broker or importer lodges the required declaration, while applicable biosecurity import conditions are checked through BICON. Duties, taxes, permits and inspections depend on the goods and import circumstances.
Can you help if I’ve never imported before?
Yes. We explain the quote, Incoterm, shipping documents, import steps and likely local charges before you approve the booking. The importer still remains responsible for accurate information, permits and legal obligations, so regulated matters are referred to the appropriate broker or authority.
Can you move dangerous goods by air or sea?
Potentially. Acceptance depends on the product classification, quantity, packing, documents, route and carrier. Air shipments are assessed against IATA DGR requirements, while packaged dangerous goods by sea follow the IMDG Code. We confirm feasibility before quoting a service.
Are freight transit times guaranteed?
Transit times are estimates unless a carrier explicitly offers a guaranteed service. Weather, capacity, schedule changes, port congestion, customs and biosecurity intervention can all affect timing. We quote the current estimate and follow up when a milestone changes.
